- Private beach in Islamorada A secluded stretch of sand framed by palms, used only by the two of you.
- Private beach in Marathon White sand and clear water in the middle Keys, for a proposal or a family ceremony.
- Bahia Honda State Park Soft sand, clear shallow water and wide sunsets. A park permit may apply.
- Key Largo Lighthouse A lighthouse on turquoise water, suited to a small wedding or a proposal.
- Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Sea grape trees and quiet beach at the southern tip of Key West.
Planning a day in the Keys
The Keys run a long way down the Overseas Highway, so we plan the place first and the time second. Key Largo is the closest to Miami; Key West is at the far end.
The private beaches in Islamorada and Marathon are used only by the two of you. At Bahia Honda State Park a park permit may apply, and your coordinator checks it before you book.
Marrying here? Out-of-state residents can get a Florida marriage license and marry the same day. Your coordinator sends the addresses of the county courts where you apply in person.
